The Association of Rhode Island Authors and the Tiverton Public Library are happy to announce that they will be holding an Author Meet and Greet event at the Tiverton Public Library on SATURDAY, June 11th. You are receiving this invitation to register for the event since you are an ARIA member.
Here are the event's specifics:
- East Bay authors (Bristol and Newport County) will have first preference to register until April 15th; after that, all ARIA authors will be eligible for the event.
- The library prefers authors of mystery, suspense, romance, and history, however all genres are eligible.
- The fee for this event is $25.
- Authors will be placed at a 6' table, which will include two chairs. Please bring your own tablecloth, badge, and table sign.
- The event runs from 11:00 to 3:00.
- Tables will be arranged in the library's large conference room as well as an outside uncovered porch at the library's entrance (if it's sunny) or covered porch (if it's raining). Please state your preference (inside or outside) when responding.
- The library can only accommodate 25 authors and will sellout quickly, so be sure to register today.
- Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and all authors that do not make the cut will be assigned to a waiting list.
- Registration will close on 5/1.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT mail a check until you have been confirmed as attending. Mike will email you with your status. If confirmed, please make your check payable to ARIA and send it to Mike Squatrito, 39 Banner Lane, Tiverton, RI 02878.
Your reservation for a spot at this event is contingent on ARIA receiving payment from you. If we do not receive payment, your spot will be given to the next person on the waiting list.
