About Steve:

Steve is the founder and president of the Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA), and the author (so far) of three independently published books, including the award-winning historical novel "Manisses", inspired the rich history of Block Island.

In 2015, Steve and his wife Dawn founded Stillwater River Publications, headquartered in Glocester, RI to help local writers publish their own original work.

Steve is also an instructor at the URI Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) where he teaches the popular course "Introduction to Independent Self Publishing".

Steve is also the founder and MC of the monthly "Lively Literati" (previously Poetry Night) at The Elephant Room in Cranston, RI (Pawtuxet Village).

As usual, we will be collecting $5 at the door to support the great work of The Hive RI and to provide delicious pizza from Pier Pizza of North Kingstown
