About the Artist
James Heroux, a Massachusetts native, predominantly works with pen and ink as his medium choice and very often uses art markers and paint pens for the primary color in his work. Heroux specializes in creating original and uniquely personalized illustrations celebrating life occasions. He recently completed his yearlong 2013 Word.A.Day.Illustration Project where he would create an illustration every day of the year based on a word and its definition.
James studied art in Phoenix, Arizona and has a degree in Fine Art. He is a current member of the Sudbury Art Association and has been in numerous group and solo shows around New England. James has led and taught art classes and Paint Night events in and around his hometown. He also designs and creates weekly art on menu ‘Specials’ chalk board at Bullfinch's Restaurant in Sudbury, MA. Heroux will be a recurring vendor at the New England Open Market as well as the Greenway Open Market held this summer in the Downtown Boston area.
