THE NEXT MEETING of the Association of Rhode Island Authors (ARIA) will take place on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in the fellowship hall of The Shepherd of the Valley United Methodist Church, 604 Seven Mile Road, Hope, RI. Networking begins at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting starts at 7:00. Please enter through the door at the back of the church.
As some of you may now, the church in Coventry that has served as our meeting location for the last few years is up for sale and its future usage is in doubt. We are very excited to have the opportunity to move our meetings here which has more amenities as well as ground-level access for those with disabilities.
The church is located on the border of Cranston and Scituate (near the village Hope) on the corner of Route 12. For folks arriving from the north, it is five to seven minutes closer, for those from the south, it is about five to seven minutes farther.
At this month's meeting, we will be reviewing December's Expo and discussing plans for what will be an exciting 2020.
