Tentatively Scheduled for 9:05 am Author Bar-Giora Goldberg will discuss, "The Mind is Mightier:

You are invited to join an intellectual adventure of the mind, a broad canvas review of the cognitive evolution of our civilization in politics, science, technology and the arts.

Humanity is on a path of rising cognition and complexity, the world becomes increasingly our idea. After two horrific world wars, it seems that the great powers are rejecting the sword in favor of the pen.

Technology is giving us tools and challenging us to change and move forward. But the new and more cognitive world is also confusing, sometimes frustrating and changing very fast. Too many of us feel displaced, even lost. Better understanding is the key to regaining our footing and better adjustment in a world of constant flow.

The Mind is Mightier is about this viewpoint of history; a broad historical description of the various elements of our cognitive evolution and the great variety of life's activities: social order, art, science, music, technology, economy, religion, world order, law and self-evaluation. It demonstrates the tendency for increased complexity in all the above as we continuously chart new directions and purpose for humanity's path.

At 9:35 am  Poet Karen Warinsky will join the panel with " Gold In Autumn' and local events in Poetry.
