I read and then interviewed Paul after book one and I cannot wait to enter his space again.
The Disian Curtain is approaching. Kyu Ardrassis knows he must stop it, but to do that, he must first hone his new-found skills. His aunt is the only one who can teach him, but she is dead, so he must return in time to her realm… and to that of his father. Harra Ardrassis, however, never knew he had a son, and is in the final stages of a fifteen-year-long battle to reunite all the territories of their world. Kyu also knows that he will be abandoning the one reasonable remaining regent, Erenia Sanna, at a time when she will need him most – she has been tasked with stopping the outbreak of yet another war among the territories, a war fueled by an Oracle armed with an army of children and hordes of deadly spiders. This Oracle, aided by the Infernal Asrath, is helping to move the Disian Curtain forward, but is also harboring a lethal lust for revenge against Regent Sanna, and has given birth to the Apollyon. Kyu must tap his father’s wisdom in battle and his aunt’s esoteric skills in order to ultimately destroy Asrath, his own mother, and her spawn. Dis is coming; only Kyu can stop it.
