SCARED TO DEATH…DO IT ANYWAY! – RI AUTHOR HOSTS NATIONAL BOOK LAUNCH PARTY MAY 17 IN EAST GREENWICH
Brian Beneduce, of North Kingstown, will launch his first book, “Scared To Death…Do It Anyway!” at a book launch party on Thursday, May 17th, from 6-8pm at The Poliquin Group, 1598 South County Trail, East Greenwich. Barbara Morse Silva, weekend anchor and Health Check reporter for NBC10, will serve as emcee.  Steve Porter, co-author, will also speak.
Beneduce is a survivor and authority on panic, fear and severe anxiety, and is the CEO of Ocean State Plastics, based in East Greenwich. His book “details one man’s inspirational and tumultuous journey told through the thoughts, feelings and secrets of an acute agoraphobic. It not only chronicles four decades of severe panic and anxiety attacks, but it also reveals the healing thought process of self-realization that helped him defeat “The Thing,” build a multimillion-dollar business, and discover a life of true happiness”.
The event is being co-sponsored by:  The Association of Rhode Island Authors, Discover You, East Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, Executives Association of RI, Pat Cruz Network Events, The Patricia Raskin Show, The Poliquin Group, Rich Austin Network, SBR, Tapestry Communications, Out of the Box Networking, and Uncle Jay’s Network.
Beneduce will be available to sign books. Proceeds of book sales will be donated to the Pediatric Anxiety Research Center at Bradley Hospital.
There will be complimentary appetizers and spirits, music, and photos will be taken and available online. Attendees are encouraged to share business cards and use the opportunity to network. Beneduce is speaking to business groups, and groups and individuals who deal with panic and anxiety in the course of their business and personal situations.  “I’ve been giving back for a long time now, in a variety of ways, and now it’s time for me to tell my deepest personal story, unknown to those even closest to me – and to reach out and help others,” Beneduce said.
The event is free, parking is available.  RSVPs are required at http://bit.ly/24iipYZ or www.BrianBeneduce.com.  For more information, contact Nancy Thomas, Tapestry Communications at 401-447-8182 or nthomas@tapestrycommunications.com
