Author Anders Morley will discuss, This Land of Snow

At 9:05am   Author Joanne Leedom-Ackerman will discuss Burning Distance

When ten-year-old Elizabeth West’s father dies in a tragic plane crash over the Persian Gulf, her family uproots their life in Washington, D.C., and moves to London. Her mother marries a knighted British businessman who has two children, and Elizabeth (Lizzy) and her two sisters move in with their new family.

John's Adventures at Yellowstone Park

Have you visited Yellowstone National Park? If not, you should add it to your "must-see" vacation wish list. After visiting the park last year, I was inspired to write a new children's book packed with everything you will see when you visit Yellowstone Nation Park. "I loved it!"

My book included the history of Yellowstone, including Grand Prismatic Springs, The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, hot springs, mud pots, fumaroles, and geysers including "Old Faithful" and Native American Tribes which makes it another great book for the classroom. I've also included information about the species of animals in Yellowstone Park since 1872 like grizzly and black bears, wolves, mountain lions, bison, pronghorn moose, and elk.

About the book: Come along with John and his family as they go on another camping adventure to Yellowstone Park.
Each member of John's family has a sight-seeing favorite they want to explore. John wants to become a Junior Ranger, Dad wants to visit the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Mom wants to learn more about the Grand Prismatic Springs, and Emma can't wait to see the volcanic mud pots that bubble, hiss, and boil.
