News, Book Signings, Expo's, Poetry, Publishing Questions and author interviews.

E-Mail the show at waynewnri@yahoo.com

Tentatively scheduled for 9:05 am will be author A. Keith Carreiro discussing his book , The Immortality Wars, The Penitent, Part 1

A baby is born and placed in his dead mother's arms. When the funeral shroud is cast over her, his father decides to name his son Pall. It will soon become a name that strikes a shiver into the hearts of those who hear it in combat.

A lone survivor on a battlefield many years later, Pall dazedly recovers from the wounds of war. Despite the dead cast about him, everything he looks upon is unfamiliar to him. Wandering away from this scene of carnage, he encounters John Savage, a giant of a man who puts Pall within the sight of Savage's seven–foot, nocked longbow.

What ensues from this deadly encounter is an elusive journey for truth. Yet, it is haunted not just by a ravening demon that is out to destroy Pall and John, but by the vision of a startling beautiful young woman protecting Pall from afar.

Kevin Collins loves the lifestyle of a Marine fighter pilot, fast paced and always on the move. Never one for planting roots, he was the first in line for any mission.

Biochemist Marina Brimlow has been hiding from everyone but the one person she can’t escape: herself. She’s the only one who knows the truth, and the past needs to be dealt with if she ever wants a future. Doing so means risking it all.

When Kevin’s grounded and told to detain Marina in the interest of national security, the terms of engagement aren’t so clear. He has to find the answers they need at any cost. No matter how guilty Marina appears, Kevin finds a battle raging within him, and he’ll do anything to protect her.

When Marina’s life is on the line, she turns to Kevin, the only person she trusts. Once he knows the ugly truth, will the connection they share be broken because of what she’d done or will Kevin find he has even more to fight for?
